The VoIP call recording method used by NICE UPTIVITY is passive recording. In this mode, the recording is done by capturing RTP streams directly via switch ports where the recorded OSCC phones are plugged in. Port mirroring on these switch ports is used in order NICE Uptivity server to capture the audio streams.
