History. Formula.fo has 
its origins in 1983, when the first company in the concern, P/F Petersen & 
Guttesen was formed. During the first years, the main task was selling and 
providing services within office equipment. The results from these activities 
were good, so the company decided to increase its activities to include 
registration equipment for the fishing and fish-farm industries. The success of 
this strategy encouraged investment in the PC market. And in 1992 the IT 
provider P/F Formula Føroyar was purchased and merged with the company, which is 
today called Formula.fo 

This whole process has been and still is being helped by Formula.fo's 
realization that it is in part through the continued systematic education and 
updating of knowledge of its employees that it can continue to provide a quality 
IT service. 

Vision: On the international arena, Formula.fo will become a player to be 
reckoned with by providing standard solutions in the
focused market area of
Software for the HiPath 3000 
platform (Pc-switchboard and Pc-clients). 

Mission: To be a trustworthy co-operative partner on the IT field 
Formula.fo intends to continually be part of the development and bearer of the 
newest and foremost technology, this so that the investment of our customers can 
bear maximum benefits. Customer and employee satisfaction will be increased and 
developed through quality service. 

Strategy: Increased satisfaction though quality service by continuous 
updating of knowledge and solid expertise Formula.fo will ensure that the 
customer receives a quality service. 

Product: A Pc-switchboard that gives a unique overview over the 
employees, while it is integrated directly with the MS Exchange 2000 server, and the 
HiPath 3000 platform. With this tool the switchboard can see the situation in the building, who is 
out - or who is in, busy, 
or talking on the phone. Every 
employee has a client with the 
same comprehensive overview of his or her colleagues, 
and can use the Pc-client with their telephones. The client can also work as a 
time registration tool – with 
or without the MS Exchange 
integration.
