Telident SiteAlert Digital Monitor

Digital Monitor is used in applications where the PBX can route emergency calls to a trunk (PS/ALI or PRI) and provide a valid ANI to the Telco. In these applications the translation function of the STS is not required. The PBX is configured to route emergency calls to a digital station line that is terminated in a special interface module in the SiteAlert PC. When emergency calls are placed, they are routed to this station and then immediately forwarded to the proper trunk so that they may be answered by the public safety answering position. The special interface in the PC provides SiteAlert with the station number of the emergency calls enabling look-up and display of the caller’s location. Digital Monitor may be configured to detect customer selected dialed numbers other than 911. This capability enables a verity of alerting applications.
