DAKS / HiPath DAKS

The demands currently placed on modern telecommunications go far beyond simply making telephone calls. DECT-Telephones are used as detectable personal emergency signal devices, conferences become more efficient and easier to use, IP-networks complete and replace classic infrastructures, and the instant telephone availability enables the construction of security systems.

The digital alarm and communication server (DAKS or DAKS for HiPath in connection with HiPath telecommunication systems or networks) provides solutions to many of these tasks.

DAKS is mainly used for:
• broadcasts and alarms
• telephone conferences
• personal security measures, including the positioning of distressed subscribers and the graphic rendition of their location
• announcement and open listening services
• one number services and group calls
• telephony access services for host systems

DAKS facilitates and accelerates communication, protects and alerts, gives employees more mobility, optimizes telephone availability and reliably performs tedious routine tasks. This means it will save you time and money.

It is as easy to incorporate DAKS in the existing telecommunication infrastructure as to install an additional telecommunication node.

The open interfaces of DAKS for HiPath (serial, LAN and contacts) allow external systems problem-free access to the telecommunication network, so that, for example
- visual paging systems,
- industrial control units,
- building control technology or alarm systems and
- deployment guidance systems (e.g. for fire fighters)
can all be linked to DAKS.

DAKS for HiPath answers calls and automatically dials subscribers, plays internally stored announcements or external voice sources, detects DECT-participants, provides information through alphanumeric display texts, accepts entries and connects subscribers for bilateral calls or conferences. Thus various telecommunication tasks can be fulfilled.
